In 2009, the Bryan Mudryk Golf Classic tournament launched a special scholarship for those who are fighting cancer while continuing their post-secondary education. From now on, every year a handful of students will receive a scholarship towards their education as they undergo treatments at the hospital.
These BRYAN MUDRYK SCHOLARSHIPS will be presented to qualified post graduate students who are attending an Alberta school in studies while battling cancer or in check-ups. (NOTE: if you are not receiving treatments at the Cross Cancer Institute, then you must provide a certificate with your doctors signature that you are in treatment & or getting follow-up checkups. Please have the doctor include the name of the treatment centre you are attending.)
